In the Himalayas, the Everest Region has a lot more to offer along with the panoramic views of the world's highest mountains, glaciers and snow. The homeland of the great mountaineering community of the Sherpa people lies right in the heart of the Himalayas and their religious and cultural beliefs can be observed during Mani Rimdu Trek as we pass through their habitats.

On the Mani Rimdu Trek, our experienced Sherpa Guide takes us away from the most trekked trails of Everest Base Camp Trek, introducing us both to his own village and the fabulous Mani Rimdu (Masked Dance) festival. The richness in culture and the way it has been preserved will leave you speechless. During the Mani Rimdu Trek we will also trek to Khumbu's remote and fascinating monasteries which again have so much knowledge to offer to someone who wishes to learn. We take several little-known trails while capturing the panoramic views of the Mighty Everest, Lhotse, Kangtaiga, Ama Dablam and the other great peaks of the Khumbu area.

We will ensure that you will not feel missed out on the custom Everest Treks like Everest Base Camp Trek; you will have your glimpse of the popular Everest Base Camp Trek and and other Everest Region Treks as well.

The best part of Mani Rimdu Trek starts when we join festive crowds of Tibetans and Sherpas at Chiwong Gompa for the annual Mani Rimdu Festival. This is the region's main festival yet few Westerners reach this remote corner of the mountains. In the presence of the High Lama, the monks don elaborate brocade costumes and perform the ancient temple dances that have changed little for hundreds of years. This is the perfect way to see the Everest range away from the crowds and gain a first-hand view of the tradition, religion, and culture of the Sherpas Community which have offered so much to the mountaineering industry of Nepal and to all mountaineers throughout this planet.
