Ganja La is flanked by pinnacles that mountaineers call gendarmes and topped by prayer flags and large cairn. During the beautiful Ganja La High Pass Trek we will visit the narrow valley of Langtang situated south of the Tibetan frontier. The Lantang is sandwiched between the principal Himalayan mountain range and, lesser southern mountain ranges, such as the Shisha Pangma (8,013 meters), the Langtang Lirung (7,426 meters), The Gang Chhempo (6,388 meters), the Naya Kangri (5,846 meters) and the Dorje Lakpa (6,975 meters). The Helambu Valley is combined with the Langtang Valley by a pass, Ganja-La Pass. This is a very natural, picturesque and interesting tour that is not far from the Capital.
Prior to the arrival some 300 years ago of Tibetan migrants, Langtang was considered a "Hidden Valley", a place of refuge. Located near the Tibetan border due north of Kathmandu, Ganja La High Pass Trek is Nepal's most accessible high trekking route. With its close proximity and moderately high elevation, Langtang offers the highlands of Nepal to those who don't have an extended vacation.
This trek is bound to leave you spellbound due to its proximity, the wilderness you will get into and also the amazing work of Mother Nature with landscape of the area.
