The Chulu West Peak lies on the North West of Chulu East, along the main crest of Manang Himal to the south east of the Thorong La. In fact, within its mass two peaks can be identified. The most western is Chulu West. Southeast of it rises a higher peak which we called Chulu Central (6,429 meters).
Chulu West was first climbed in 1978 by Dr. Larry Zaroff, Peter Lev with Nepali Sherpa team by the North West ridge. Rudolph Schietl, Kevin O' Connell and Sherpa team climbed Chulu Central from the same base camp in 1981.
The trekking peaks offer both tiger and trio the opportunity to climb amongst the most beautiful mountains in the world with minimal red tape or organizational problems. What's more, they can be fitted into the timescale of the normal holiday. Chulu-West Peak Climb has always been a very attractive trip for people having limited days but willing to get to the Himalayas. This is a ultimate Trekking in Nepal Experience as it takes one right through the steps of Annapurna Base Camp Trek and as outfitters of the Annapurna Circuit Trek and Annaputna Sanctuary Trek, the Chulu West Peak Climb has always remained an asset to all of us outfitters in Nepal as this trip has Muktinath, Jomsom, Manang, Pokhara and literally everything Annapurna Region of Nepal has to offer.
