Mount Lhotse lies in Eastern part of Nepal beside the mighty Mount Everest. Mount Lhotse rises to a staggering 8516 meters above the sea level. Mr. Ernst Resis of Switzerland scaled Mount Lhotse first time on May 18, 1956 via West Face.
Mount Lhotse is the fourth highest peak in the world making it a much desired mountain to climb among mountaineers throughout the world. Mount Lhotse stands at the border between Tibet (China) and the Khumbu region of Nepal making itself as the border between two countries. This boarder line mountain presents a great adventure for mountaineers as well as outfitters in Nepal like ourselves. Summit day is when we forget all the hard work put into the expeditions with descent down back in our head. Just Trekking to the Evesr Base Camp is a great adventure journey on its own and one of the best Trekking in Nepal Experiences but when we get an opportunity to operate expeditions to Mount Lhotse along with the famous Everest Base Camp Trek, it just adds the icing on the cake.
