Mount Annapurna I lies in the Western part of Nepal and rises to 8,091 meters above the sea level. Annapurna literally means “Full of Food” but is ritually known as the “Goddess of the the Harvests”. Mr. Maurice Herzog of France first time scaled this mountain on June 3, 1950 via North Face.
Annapurna I is the tenth highest point on the planet and is a very difficult mountain to climb and has a reputation of one of the most dangerous mountains to attempt. Outfitting Expeditions in Nepal has always been our pride and glory. Being an Outfitter in Nepal of Annapurna Expedition is a privilege because of the mountain's religious values and legacy. Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek and Annapurna Sanctuary Trek are all known for the great panoramic views and difficulty as well. The Annapurna Expedition takes the difficulty level to a whole new height.
